What do we know about chances?

On meeting someone the second time.
On risking what we might lose.
On not replying to that message.
On being a coward by standing with admiration,
And not daring to say hello.

 What do we know about chances?

 If we don’t take them.

 Time will reveal.

 If we let it.

Folks vs. You.

They told you to go follow your dreams,
They said you can be anything,
Years come they remind you bout the bills,
Draw you a life blueprint and shit,
As if they already know about the unknown.
